Ann Arbor-Harrison
So, Wes and I had never really ridden the KLRs off road, so we decided to take a trip to Harrison, Michigan. My aunt and uncle have a little cabin there, and they were nice enough to let us use it.

We were going to leave on Friday evening, but a huge storm came in, so we left Saturday morn. It was maybe 40-50 degrees (F.), so it was a kinda chilly 200 miles. We got to Harrison and headed out to find some Trails. Wes had a topo map of the area and we set out for an area that had roads listed as 4WD and Old Railroad Grade. We found some great two-tracks and got into some nice muddy areas.

and dirtier
We found a bunch of logging roads that consisted of deep mud and huge tire tracks. We came to a fork in the road and stopped for a drink and photo op.

Ok, so we're out in the middle of serious nowhere, and up on a tree we see a sign that says "neighborhood watch". WTF?

One part of the trail was covered with a stream. We rode through it with no problems. The KLRs were holding up just fine.
